AKA: And extreme test in Impulse ControlEvidently the universe felt I needed help with grounding and balancing today. I picked up three new stones today and everyone of them were black and white!
The very first stone I saw when we walked in the room was this Smokey Quartz with veins of Tourmaline running through it. Isn't it brilliant!!! For those unaware, black tourmaline is a grounding stone and good for the development of ideas in the beginning of the creation process. Given some of the new possibilities that have been presented to me recently, I can see why I was drawn to it.
The next stone I came upon that truly caught my eye was this large stone of spiderweb jasper. Jaspers in general are grounding stones. The spiderweb often refers to the interconnectedness of life.
And finally, I found this little piece of Snowflake Obsidian buried in the bottom of a box of random lapidary slabs. Snowflake Obsidian is technically a jasper and is a protective stone. The black and white coloring indicates balance. You can see it resting on a slab of blue lace agate that I got there last year. Blue lace agate helps to bring peace within relationships.
So as you can see, balance was the name of the game today!
