Blog Forgotten

Well, I guess it hasn't been totally forgotten. The Project 365 stuff is still up to date but that is about it lately.

I have had a lot going on in the last few weeks. A few big events have passed and the boy's birthday is coming up in about a week. A few new opportunities have presented themselves lately and I am trying to decide what stays and what goes because I can't do it all!!!

I am way behind in my reading, although not as far behind as my 52 in 52 posts would indicate!!! My TBR shelf is growing by the day. (Of course if I would lay off the PaperBackSwap I might be able to catch up eventually. OK, maybe not but it is a nice thought.)

We are also reaching the end of the school year and this is when my unschooling heart starts to battle with my structured brain and I start to freak out!!! Drake is working through his math book and will be putting together everything he has learned this year on Greek Mythology into a lapbook. He will also be adding things about Ancient Greece in there along the way! It's going to be a BIG lapbook! Hopefully after this we can move onto a new topic. Although he has hinted that he wants to study metalurgy! I'm not sure I'm up for that.

Kyllian will hopefully be moving into a phase where he can actually do something that resembles school work. At least in my eyes. We are going to work through some small chapter books hopefully and I am trying to get him involved in some art classes.

Last but CERTAINLY not least, if I don't figure out where the tiny squeak in my desk is coming from I am going to LOSE MY FREAKING MIND!!!!!!
